Where's Krypton?

On Wednesday, I picked up the 13 disc Superman box set, including the four movies from the 70's and 80's, and Superman Returns. I'll get into more detail about the set itself when I've had a chance to scour all thirteen discs, but I did get the chance to watch Returns and the deleted scenes.
The movie itself is fantastic. I enjoyed it even more than when I saw the film at the movies. Of the deleted scenes included on the DVD, however, there was nothing that leaped out at me as should have been included in the movie.
That said, I was disappointed to see that the "return to Krypton" segment that was originally going to be included early in the movie wasn't included.
I suspect we'll be seeing an Extended Cut at some point, allowing for "never before seen footage". Still, I was looking forward to seeing this scene, so it kinda pissed me off. |
